The client's question
A foundation that can grow.
Cavalor is a Belgian manufacturer of horse nutrition and care products operating internationally. The existing website was built by another agency, but the quality and maintainability left much to be desired. The codebase was fragile, changes caused unexpected side effects and adding new languages was a time-consuming task. Meanwhile, Cavalor was expanding into more markets and the team needed a platform that could handle that growth seamlessly, including a dealer search feature so end customers in every country can find a point of sale.
Our technical approach
Our solution
We took over cavalor.com entirely and rebuilt it from the ground up on a custom Elementor foundation. The full content architecture runs on Crocoblock JetEngine: products, knowledge articles and dealer locations are structured in custom post types with dynamic listings, so the team manages content without developer involvement. For the store locator we built a bespoke solution based on Google Maps with radius search, country and product category filters, and a toggle between physical shops and online stores. WPML was fully reconfigured and extended to five languages: Dutch, English, French, German and Polish. This gives every market a fully translated experience.
From technology to use
What we built
- Dynamic product pages and knowledge centre on Crocoblock JetEngine
- Store locator with radius search, country filter and Google Maps
- Five fully translated language versions via WPML
- Reusable Elementor blocks for consistent branding
- Performance optimisation: caching, lazy loading and image compression
